Young Artists Programme – Singers & Répétiteurs

Mascarade Opera, based in Florence, is a training and professional development centre for young opera artists.

Through its Emerging Artists Programme 2027–2028, Mascarade Opera offers singers and répétiteurs at the beginning of their careers an individually tailored 1–2 year programme combining artistic training, role and repertoire preparation, coaching, performance opportunities and career development.

Selected artists receive a scholarship, with an allowance described by Mascarade Opera as equivalent to an entry-level salary in the industry.

The initial selection is based on video submissions.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to live auditions in Florence from 5 to 7 February 2027.
Financial support towards travel and accommodation costs may be available for candidates invited to the live auditions.
