Description

The Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb is inviting applications for several orchestral positions.

Successful candidates will be offered fixed-term employment contracts with a probationary period, in accordance with Croatian legislation governing theatre institutions.

Available positions:

  • Percussion – Principal Assistant (audition: 7 October 2026)
  • Cello – Principal Assistant (audition: 6 October 2026)
  • Viola – Principal Assistant (audition: 25 September 2026)
  • Second Violin – Principal Assistant (audition: 10 October 2026)
  • Cello Tutti (audition: 10 October 2026)

General requirements:

  • completed higher music education (minimum 300 ECTS) or an equivalent qualification;
  • for the Cello Tutti position, Music Academy students who have completed at least 180 ECTS may also apply, under the conditions specified by the organiser;
  • CV and diploma (or equivalent proof of qualifications), translated into Croatian.
