Audition – Second Violin (tutti)

Brno Philharmonic is organising an audition for a second violin (tutti) position.

The audition will take place on September 21, 2026.
The selection process includes preliminary and final rounds, with the first round held anonymously.

Audition repertoire includes:

• a classical concerto (Mozart – first movement with cadenza, from memory)
• a romantic or 20th-century concerto (from memory)
• orchestral excerpts (Mozart, Beethoven, Smetana, Dvořák, R. Strauss, Janáček)
• sight-reading

Application deadline: August 21, 2026
Applications must include a CV, contact details, education, and professional experience.
Piano accompaniment can be provided upon request.

Expected start date: December 1, 2026 (or by agreement)
