Audition – Bass Soloist

Mittelsächsische Theater und Philharmonie (MiT), a multi-genre theatre in Germany active in opera, operetta, musical and concert production, is offering a position for a bass soloist within its music theatre ensemble.

The institution operates in Freiberg and Döbeln and serves a culturally active region located between Chemnitz, Dresden and Leipzig.

The position is suited for a versatile performer, comfortable across a broad repertoire ranging from Baroque and Classical works to German opera, late Romantic repertoire, as well as musical and jazz.
Stage movement and openness towards interdisciplinary work are also expected.

The contract is offered under NV Bühne regulations, initially for two years, with the possibility of extension.

The theatre welcomes applications from artists of all nationalities and backgrounds, including candidates with disabilities.
