Description

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO), one of the leading symphony orchestras in the United Kingdom, invites applications for the Sir Alexander Gibson Fellowship for Choral Conductors.

This programme is designed for emerging conductors wishing to develop their experience working with a large symphonic chorus. The selected fellow will have the opportunity to work closely with the RSNO Chorus and its artistic team.

The fellowship runs for one season (September 2026 – June 2027), with the possibility of extension for a further season. It includes an annual stipend of £3,000 and a travel bursary of up to £500.

Applicants are required to submit a CV, a covering letter (including details of two professional referees), and video material demonstrating their conducting or rehearsal work.
