Târgu Mureș International Conducting Competition 2026

Târgu Mureș International Conducting Competition returns from September 21–25, 2026, at the Palace of Culture in Târgu Mureș, Romania.

The competition is open to conductors of all nationalities, with no age limit, and offers prizes totaling €8,500, as well as concert opportunities across Europe.

This year’s edition brings together an international jury chaired by György G. Ráth and is organized in collaboration with the Târgu Mureș State Philharmonic.
