Open Call: Lübeck Opera Studio 2026/27

Theater Lübeck and the Musikhochschule Lübeck invite applications for the Opernstudio Lübeck, a professional training program founded in 2007 with the support of the Possehl Foundation.

Members of the Opernstudio take part in music theatre productions at Theater Lübeck, performing small and medium roles, with the opportunity to study major roles. The program combines hands-on professional stage experience with individualized artistic and academic training within a fully professional opera environment.

Positions available (2026/2027 season – August 2026 to July 2027):

• Soprano
• Mezzo-soprano
• Tenor
• Baritone

Appointments are made for one season (12 months), with the possibility of extension for a second season.
Opernstudio members receive a contract with Theater Lübeck and a monthly gross salary of EUR 1,500, subject to confirmation of funding. Participants also hold the status of continuing education students at the Lübeck University of Music, with access to courses and practice facilities.
