“MIRAGE OF VOICE” International Vocal Interpretation Competition

Description

The first edition of the “Mirage of Voice” International Vocal Interpretation Competition will take place in Arad from 25 October to 21 November 2026.

The competition includes two sections:

  • Lied – Oratorio
  • Arias

Participants may enter only one section.

Age categories:

  • Category A – Professionals: 26+
  • Category B – Virtuoso: 22–25
  • Category C – Young Performers: 18–21
  • Category D – Beginners: 15–17

The competition will take place in three stages:

  • 25–30 October 2026 – Preliminary Round, online, based on submitted video recordings;
  • 20 November 2026 – Semi-final, in person, at the Arad Philharmonic;
  • 21 November 2026 – Final, at the Arad Philharmonic.

20 participants will be selected for the Semi-final, of whom 10 will advance to the Final.

Application deadline: 25 October 2026
Participation fee: EUR 80.

Registration is completed online, and the required documents and materials must be submitted to mirageofvoice@gmail.com by the application deadline.
