Cristian Măcelaru • Instrumental Masterclass

The George Enescu International Competition has opened applications for the Instrumental Performance and Advanced Music Studies Masterclass, led by conductor Cristian Măcelaru.

The programme is open to young instrumentalists of any specialization, residing either in Romania or abroad, born after 1 August 2001.

The masterclass will take place in Bucharest, Romania, from 26–28 August 2026 and offers participants the opportunity to work directly with one of the most acclaimed Romanian musicians on the international stage.

A maximum of 9 active participants will be selected, alongside a limited number of passive participants.
