Contrapuncta Composition Contest 2026 – Piano Solo

Association Contrapuncta launches the 2026 edition of the International Composition Contest, dedicated to solo piano works.
The competition is open to composers of any age and nationality.

Eligible works:

• original compositions for solo piano (two hands, no electronics)
• duration: 6–12 minutes
• works must not have been previously published or commercially distributed

Selection and prizes:

• 6 works selected by a professional jury
• Jury Prize: €1,000
• Audience Prize: €500
• the selected works will be performed in concert in Bordeaux, France

Registration fee: €35 per work
Deadline: June 30, 2026
