Auditions – International Orchestral Academy

Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra – Ostrava (Czech Republic) announces auditions for the International Orchestral Academy (IOA), a professional training programme addressed to students and graduates of university-level music performance studies.

The Academy offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on orchestral experience by taking part in concerts and projects (including tours), under the guidance of the orchestra’s principal players.

Programme period:
Winter semester: 7 September 2026 – 28 January 2027
(Participation may be extended to the spring semester, subject to selection.)

Instruments: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon

Selection is based on:

• live, unedited video recordings of orchestral excerpts
• two contrasting movements from a solo work (max. 10 minutes)
• artistic CV

• The programme is unpaid and particularly suitable for Erasmus+ beneficiaries
