Auditions – Festival Orchestra Academy

Ticino Musica Festival, one of Europe’s leading international festivals dedicated to classical music and artistic education, featuring over 70 events in two weeks and a tradition of more than 40 years in promoting young talents and established artists, is organizing auditions for its Festival Orchestra (Festival Orchestra Academy).

The festival invites musicians of all nationalities to apply by submitting video recordings.
The minimum age for participation is 18 years, with possible exceptions at the jury’s discretion.

Instruments: violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute and piccolo, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and contrabassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba.

Project period: July 19–30, 2026, in Lugano, Switzerland, as part of the Ticino Musica Festival.

Application deadline: March 15, 2026 (video recording submission).

Scholarship: Selected musicians will receive a scholarship of CHF 1000, which will be paid at the end of the Festival, subject to the fulfillment of the required performance criteria.
