Audition – Violin (Tutti, First Violin)

Iceland Symphony Orchestra announces an audition for two full-time, permanent tutti violin positions in the first violin section.

Application deadline: 30 April 2026
Audition date: 2 June 2026. The audition will take place in Reykjavík.

Audition Repertoire:

• one Mozart violin concerto (No. 3, 4, or 5), 1st and 2nd movements with cadenza
• one Romantic violin concerto (Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, Beethoven, or Dvořák), 1st movement with cadenza
