Audition – Principal Clarinet & Viola (tutti)

The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation announces auditions for two orchestral positions: Principal Clarinet and Viola (tutti).

The auditions will take place at the Pallas Theatre in Nicosia and will be held in two rounds, including the performance of a concerto and orchestral excerpts from the prescribed repertoire, as well as a sight-reading test.

The positions offer employment starting on 1 September 2026, with a six-month probation period, and a gross monthly salary of €2,350 for the Principal Clarinet position and €1,880 for the Viola (tutti) position, in addition to a 13th salary.

Applicants must hold a relevant degree and be citizens of an EU member state or hold a valid work permit in Cyprus.
