Nelly Miricioiu – International Opera Masterclass

The Romanian Opera Craiova is organising the Elena Teodorini Academy – International Opera Masterclass, led by soprano Nelly Miricioiu, from 27 September to 2 October 2026 at the Oltenia Philharmonic in Craiova.

The masterclass is dedicated to the artistic and professional development of opera singers, combining repertoire study with aspects related to international careers, stage identity, and the relationship between vocal technique, expression and artistic presence.

The programme is open to Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral students, as well as professional and emerging singers, with no age limit
Classes will take place daily from 14:00 to 20:00.

Both active and passive participants are welcome.

The masterclass will conclude with the Elena Teodorini Academy Gala on 3 October 2026 at the Oltenia Philharmonic in Craiova.

Application period: 1–21 September 2026

Applicants should submit the completed application form together with a copy of their ID card/passport to: consultantartistic@operacraiova.ro

Participation fees:

• Active participants – RON 1,000
• Passive participants – RON 500

The participation fee does not include accommodation, meals or travel expenses.
Active participants will receive a certificate of participation.
