Audition – Orchestra & Vocal Soloist (Soprano)

The “Lyra – George Cavadia” Philharmonic in Brăila is holding auditions for the following orchestra and vocal positions:

• Tuba IA
• Cello IA
• Viola I
• Oboe II
• Horn II
• Trumpet – entry level
• Trombone – entry level
• Bassoon – entry level
• Percussion – entry level
• Vocal soloist (Soprano) – with the possibility of a fixed-term contract.

The auditions will take place on 3–4 September 2026.

For instrumentalists, the practical audition includes an instrumental recital and orchestral excerpts, with specific requirements for each instrument.

For the vocal soloist – soprano position, candidates are required to perform: an opera or operetta aria, a Romanian piece;a lied.

An accompanist will be provided by the “Lyra – George Cavadia” Philharmonic.
