Audition – 1st Concertmaster

Wiener Symphoniker is organizing auditions for the position of 1st Concertmaster.

The auditions are scheduled for 25 September 2026 (main audition) and 26 September 2026 (orchestra round).
Application deadline is 26 July 2026.

This is a permanent full-time position.
The successful candidate will be provided with a violin by Antonio Stradivari, Guarneri del Gesù or Giovanni Battista Guadagnini, generously made available through the Oesterreichische Nationalbank.

The selection process includes a mandatory video application.
Applications submitted without the required video material will not be considered.
