Audition – Concertmaster

The Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester announces an audition for the position of concertmaster, starting with the 2026 summer tour. The appointment is expected to last two to three years, with further details to be agreed individually.

Applications are open to musicians with European citizenship born between 1 January 2001 and 6 August 2008.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate outstanding musical and technical abilities, significant orchestral experience, as well as strong leadership skills and artistic responsibility.
