Description

The European Youth Orchestra Academy (EYOA) has opened applications for the Young European Jazz Big Band, a programme designed for young musicians aged 14 to 18 who are passionate about jazz and playing in a big band.

Programme period: 3–13 September 2026
The programme offers participants the opportunity to work in a big band setting, with a focus on groove, improvisation, and building a strong ensemble sound, culminating in concerts during the academy.

Application requirements:

  • a video audition / application video
  • parental consent (for applicants under 18)
  • a confirmation / recommendation from the applicant’s teacher
