Call for Singers – International Rossini Program 2026

The Accademia Rossiniana “Alberto Zedda” 2026 will take place in Pesaro from 6 to 20 July 2026, within the framework of the Rossini Opera Festival.
The programme is dedicated to the interpretation of Gioachino Rossini’s operas and is aimed at professional singers and young artists interested in Rossini performance practice.

The course is open to Active Participants and Observers. Participation is free of charge, and admission is based on selection.

Course period: 6–20 July 2026, Pesaro, Italy
Application deadline: 5 February 2026
Auditions: 9, 10 and 12 March 2026, Pesaro

Selected participants will attend theoretical seminars, have access to festival rehearsals, and take part in an intensive vocal interpretation course, focusing on Il viaggio a Reims.
Admitted participants will perform in the final concert of the Academy (20 July 2026) and may be involved in the Rossini Opera Festival production of Il viaggio a Reims (16 and 19 August 2026). A grant will be provided for those taking part in the production.

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
