Audition – Principal Second Violin

The State Opera Varna announces an audition for one (1) vacant position in the symphony orchestra – Principal Second Violin.

• Audition date: October 11, 2025
• Start of employment: to be negotiated after the audition; immediate start possible
• Eligibility: young musicians at the start of their career are welcome to apply, if they demonstrate potential for the role.
• Salary: monthly remuneration will be determined based on the audition result, CV, and professional experience

Audition repertoire:

• J.S. Bach – one slow and one fast movement from the sonatas or partitas for solo violin
• W.A. Mozart – Violin Concerto No. 3, 4 or 5 – first movement with cadenza
• One Romantic work – first movement of a concerto or another piece of the candidate’s choice
